Your Mission Briefing
This is no ordinary test drive. You're about to experience the 2026 Jetour PHEV in exactly the conditions it was built for — city streets, open highways, winding mountain passes, and scenic rural roads. Every kilometre is a revelation.
10 Vehicles
2 passengers per car. Your team, your adventure — navigating together as one convoy.
~200km Total
Two distinct 100km legs — outbound through the Magaliesberg, return via Krugersdorp and Randburg.
Live Game Control
Our Game Controller monitors every vehicle in real time and can message or call your team at any moment.
Clues Revealed En Route
Each leg is only unlocked once the previous one is complete. Stay sharp — the next waypoint is always a surprise.
08:00 AM · ROUTE A BEGINS
Start Line — Jetour SA HQ, Waterfall City
The convoy assembles at Jetour's South African headquarters in Waterfall City, Midrand. Branded snack packs are distributed, a product introduction wraps up, and the lead vehicle heads northwest on William Nicol / K101.

In-Car Activity — True or False: To kick things off, each team answers 6 True or False questions designed to surface the most surprising USPs of the Jetour PHEV. Expect a few jaw-dropping moments as you realise just how capable this vehicle truly is. As the day progresses, GPS-activated pop-ups appear on your screen — videos, facts, and knowledge challenges that deepen your understanding of what you're driving.
Route A — The Morning Leg
The outbound route covers approximately 100km, threading through three distinct driving environments before arriving at De Hoek Country Hotel for a 5-star lunch. Each waypoint brings a new challenge — and a new reason to fall in love with the PHEV.
1
08:00 — Waterfall City
Convoy departs HQ. Snack packs, product intro, and True/False activity underway.
2
08:30 — Fourways
City driving segment. Stop-start urban traffic on Witkoppen Road showcases EV mode efficiency.

N14 westbound. Highway performance and PHEV range on a long open dual carriageway.
4
09:25 — Hartbeespoort / R512
Scenic Magaliesberg. Winding valley roads and a Musical Conundrum roadblock.
5

Lunch destination reached. 5-star experience, vehicle displays, and gifts.
08:30 AM · WAYPOINT 1
Fourways / Witkoppen Road
City Driving Segment
Navigate the urban arterials of Fourways — William Nicol to Witkoppen, connecting through Diepsloot roads. This is where the Jetour PHEV truly earns its stripes. Stop-start city traffic is exactly where EV mode shines brightest, delivering whisper-quiet, zero-emission urban driving.
Feel the difference. No engine noise. No fuel burn. Pure electric torque through Johannesburg's busiest corridors.

PHEV Highlight: In pure EV mode, the Jetour PHEV produces zero tailpipe emissions in stop-start traffic — exactly the scenario where conventional vehicles are at their least efficient.
09:00 AM · WAYPOINT 2
Lanseria Airport — Highway Segment + Roadblock
The convoy joins the N14 westbound at the Lanseria interchange. The long, open dual carriageway is the perfect stage for demonstrating the Jetour PHEV's highway range and performance — where the hybrid powertrain manages energy with remarkable intelligence.

🚧 ROADBLOCK — Carbon Offset Challenge: Modern air travel leaves a hefty carbon footprint — but driving a 2026 Jetour PHEV to the airport is one brilliant way to offset it. At this stop, teams tackle a logic exercise: navigate a pre-determined route through 20 of Jetour's 200+ global service centres across 100+ countries. Plot the most efficient path, work as a team, and earn your clue to the next waypoint. It's fast, it's fun, and it puts Jetour's remarkable global footprint into sharp perspective.
09:25 AM · WAYPOINT 3
Hartbeespoort Dam / R512
Scenic Rural Segment + Musical Conundrum
Exit the N14 onto R512 south towards Broederstroom. The Magaliesberg mountain backdrop and winding valley roads make this the visual highlight of the entire route — a stunning showcase for the convoy and videographer alike.

🎵 ROADBLOCK — Musical Conundrum: Retrieve the hidden USB from the car and plug it into the media player. You'll hear 6 song snippets — listen as many times as you like, request hints if you're stuck. Your mission: decipher the secret word hidden in the artists' initials, not the songs themselves.
Example: JETOUR = Jennifer Lopez · Eminem · Tina Turner · OutKast · U2 · REM. Simple? Only once you know how!

5
14:00 — Waterfall City
Convoy arrives back at HQ. Survey, prize giving, and celebrations.
12:30 PM · WAYPOINT 1
Hekpoort / R560 Junction
Scenic Rural Segment
R560 south through Hekpoort offers an entirely different landscape to the outbound R512 — rolling hills, the western face of the Magaliesberg range, and quieter back roads where EV mode creates a genuinely serene driving experience.
This is the Jetour PHEV at its most peaceful. No combustion. No noise. Just magnificent South African countryside unfolding ahead of you.
12:50 PM · WAYPOINT 2
Krugersdorp / N14 East
Highway Comparison Segment
Join the N14 eastbound at Krugersdorp for a fascinating back-to-back comparison with the morning's outbound highway leg — same road class, opposite direction, and a live demonstration of how intelligently the PHEV manages energy over sustained highway driving.
13:20 PM · WAYPOINT 3
Northgate — Breaking News Challenge
After navigating Randburg and Northriding's urban streets before joining the N1 North, teams arrive at the most creative checkpoint of the day.

🎬 ROLLING CHECKPOINT — Breaking News Report: Your team has 30 seconds to film a sensational breaking news broadcast connected to today's event. Lights, camera, action — no stopping required, just inspiration and creativity at full throttle.

Need a starting point? How about: "Jetour announces development of the 5-DHT motor to fuel NASA's Artemis 3 mission to Mars in 2028!" — but honestly, who knows what your team will dream up? The wilder, the better. The Game Controller is watching. 📡
This is where personality shines. The best broadcast earns serious bragging rights — and potentially a podium finish. Teams then join the N1 North for the final sprint home to Waterfall City.
14:00 PM · FINISH LINE
Waterfall City — The Final Lap
The convoy arrives back at Jetour SA HQ via the N1 North to Buccleuch interchange, then east on R564 into Waterfall City. Approximately 200km completed. Two extraordinary driving environments experienced. One unforgettable day behind the wheel of the future.
🏅 Integrated Survey
Teams complete a vehicle feedback survey — favourite features, best USPs, and how much fuel was actually used across the full 200km journey.
🥇 Prize Giving
Customised quality medals for the top 3 teams. Points tallied across all roadblocks, activities, and checkpoints. Champions crowned.

Game Control — Always Watching 👁
Behind every great race is a great controller. Today's experience is managed in real time by our Game Controller — tracking every vehicle's GPS location and ready to engage your team at any moment.
What the Game Controller Does
  • Monitors all 10 vehicles simultaneously via live GPS tracking
  • Sends messages and calls teams at strategic moments
  • Triggers GPS-activated pop-ups: videos, facts, and challenges
  • Controls the reveal of each new waypoint or leg
  • Scores teams across all roadblocks and creative activities
  • Manages timing to keep the convoy on schedule
What Your Team Experiences
From the moment you leave HQ, the experience is dynamic and responsive. Pop-up content appears as you pass key GPS coordinates — short videos highlighting PHEV technology, quick knowledge challenges, and surprising facts about the vehicle you're driving.
No two teams will experience exactly the same moments at exactly the same time. Stay alert. The next message from Game Control could arrive at any second.

Pro Tip: The Game Controller knows if you've pulled over when you shouldn't have. Drive smart. Drive clever. And always read the fine print on your clues. 😏
